Yeah, can't see that relationship lasting for long! Hope he does well though, Panucci.

It's reported today that Cagliari may play their remaining home games this season in Trieste due to the crumbling state of the Stadio Sant'Elia. Capacity has been cut to 14,500 - the reuiremment for Serie A is 20,000. The arrangement may continue next season while Cagliari seek approval for a new stadium. They have already been refused permission for their preferred site because it's too near the airport.

Week 31 Top Five:
1. Muriel (Lecce) 8.36
2. Mauri (Lazio) 7.64
3. Giacomazzi (Lecce) 7.64
4. Di Michele (Lecce 7.57
5. Candreva (Lazio) 7.50

The Best 11 feature on RAI teletext also grades referees. Top five over the season so far are:
1. Orsato
2. Di Marco
3. Guida
4. Celi
5. D'Amato
No complaints over Orsato being top. He's been impressive every time I've seen him this season. One surprise to me was Rizzoli down in eleventh place. I regard him as the best of the Serie A referees over the past three years.

I can't believe the turnover of managers at Genoa this year. They have sacked Malesani twice this season!

Still got a bit to go to beat some Brazilian teams. I remember hearing two or three years ago that Botafogo had FIVE managers in one season and 53 in 35 years - all different! Must be some sort of record.

Sounds crazy that. ^

I still remember 04/05 for us. Prandelli, Voller, Conti, Del Neri. That was pretty mad. Add in Capello who quit in summer 04, and Spalletti who took over in summer 05, that's six in a year!
