Good start there!

I have a strong team, currently 2nd in the league behind a Barcelona side which has only dropped points in two games all season (in January atm). Check out Yaya Sanogo, doing the business up front for me.

He looks class.Finishing 15/20 and he is only 17 years old. Shame that I have already bought Lukaku and Kadlec up front, but for other seasons he is lethal!

Lukaku and Kadlec both develop well too. That Babacar from Fiorentina becomes a beast as well!

Yeah I got them for 9 million combined, I may sell Torres in the summer.
He is useless, I would still get a fair bit for him and he is on massive wages!

So guys, if you had to pick your great ever FM signing, be it cheapest, biggest name or best stats return, who would you pick? Smile

I would have to say Pepe for 12 million on an Arsenal season that I did on the 2010 game. Great defender.
What about you Toon_Army?

He is a top defender and £12m is a bargain Smile Mine has to be a double swoop, £8m for Adam Johnson and Mario Balotelli from Man City for Newcastle. Thata the benefit of City on FM, they buy so much class that they end up just letting it go on the cheap a few years later!

So you got them for a combined 8 million or 8 million each?

Combined £8 million! £5m for Mario and £3M for Johnson, this is a couple of years in the future when I was in Europe and they were on the Transfer list on cut down asking prices!

Balotelli always looks like he's hard work! Almost every time I go on his profile, it's saying he "has instructed his agent for a more suitable club to join."

Well I think by that time he was just desperate for a club haha! He did quality for me though, ran away with the golden boot with 30 goals in all comps! Him and Andy Carroll made a good partnership to get me in the Champions League.

1st Barcelona with 96, 2nd Atletico with 95, 3rd Real Madrid with 94. Then me 4th with 92. That is the example of 'the big four'.

5th Sporting with 57 Laughing

Just finished my first season as Roma manager.
I finished 4th in the league and got to the semi in the champions league where I lost 3-0 to Real. Beat Arsenal and Bayern en route with some great away performances.
I had a pretty small squad. I bought Jose Angel,Stekelenburg, Morrone and Milevskyi. However I sold Mexes,Menez,Vucinic,Adriano,Brighi,Riise,Juilo Sergio and Doni.
Should be able to spend a fair bit in the summer to come.

AM you killed the thread!

Sounds good aldair, good season. You'll build on 4th in future and getting to the CL Semi's is a top effort first time around.

Great work! Would love that to happen in real life Wink

Any plans to move to another club, or stay at Roma?

I do not think so, the new one comes out in less than three weeks so I am winding down on 2011

Makes sense, me too I guess. I haven't read too much about the new one, though I've seen a couple of screenshots with improved teamtalks/press conferences.

Aldair are you getting the new one as soon as it's released? I hear you have to activate it in a weird way, like with FM 09.
