Serie A Transfers Summer 2012

Bologna have signed goalkeeper Gianluca Curci from Roma on loan.

Parma have signed midfielder Afriyie Acquah from Palermo on loan.

That Ninis was meant to have been very promising, mustn't have lived up to expectations.

Has Ibra gone to PSG yet? Rumour has it Berbatov may be his replacement. I think he still has something to offer and may prove a bargain.

He has had a medical and is expected to sign today.


Well Berbatov is as much of an enigma. But I thought that about Ibra and soon got converted.

Milan certainly need to do something. Can't believe they sold him and Silva.

Berbatov wouldn't be bad but Milan need to try and find more than him going forward, Pato is always injured, Robinho can't be relied on for goals (been linked with a move back home too), Cassano is awesome but will only get you max 10 league goals too.

Replacing Thiago Silva and Nesta will take some doing too. Mexes will probably become a definite starter but they still need at least one other top drawer CB.

I'm struggling to get over Silva and Ibra being sold, god knows how Milan fans feel!

Yup. Galliani has said there will be a big name signing before the end of the window but he says one thing one week and then the exact opposite happens the next week so I am not holding my breath!

I just can't get my head around the Thiago Silva transfer saga. In one month, Milan agreed a transfer but Berlusconi called off the deal, then Thiago Silva signed a bumper contract extension saying Milan is the only club he wants to be at and then a week later he has moved onto PSG.

Bologna have signed defender Marco Motta from Juventus on loan.

Palermo have signed striker Paulo Dybala from Instituto for an undisclosed fee.

Inter have signed midfielder Gaby Mudingayi from Bologna on loan.

Catania have signed midfielder Lucas Castro from Racing Club for an undisclosed fee.

Leandro Greco has gone to Olympiacos, whilst we've signed right back Ivan Piris from Sao Paulo on loan, initally.

The Destro saga is going on and on too, he'll probably end up at Roma though eventually. He better be worth it.

Palermo have signed midfielder Egidio Arevalo from Tijuana for an undisclosed fee.

Fiorentina have signed midfielder Juan Cuadrado from Udinese on loan.

Chievo have signed midfielder Marco Rigoni from Novara on loan.

He's always been good on FM has Fernandez, dunno what he's like in real life though. Will keep an eye on him.

Twente have signed striker Luc Castaignos from Inter for around £5million.

Roma have signed striker Mattia Destro from Genoa for around £12.5million.

Pretty expensive for someone so unproven, he better be good.

Balzaretti to Roma is looking very likely, should do a good job for a couple of years. Had a great Euro's when he played.

Looked set to go to Napoli but a good signing for Roma. By the way Pre season has gone for Roma, they have looked good. Let's see if they can do it when it matters.
