Hey, mpc, what do you think of the Kinnear fiasco? Pardew to leave and claim £millions for unfair dismissal, particularly bearing in mind the length of his contract?

| I don't know why we have this tendency to shoot ourselves in the foot. Kinnear was a complete disaster last time and he is only going to undermine Pardew. We didnt have a good season last year but I think Pardew has done well and should just be left to get on with things. Kinnear is unbelievably crass. Every interview I see him give makes me cringe. Also, Graham Carr has done a magnificent job finding players over the last couple of years. Why we need to started messing with a system that works is beyond me. | |

| Looking forward to the new season. Everyone says it's going to be a more open fight for the title. I hope that includes teams other than Man U,Man C and Chelsea. I'll be keeping an eye out for Liverpool's progress. If Suarez stays they'll be very good. Spurs look better than Arsenal to me. I'll also be hoping Martinez can emulate Moyes at Everton as I've a soft spot for them. Hope you guys enjoy the season too. | |

| Yes, for Premiership followers today is the last day all the hopes are intact!
Off topic - quite cheered by Burnley's start, especially after the disappointment of seeing Austin go.

| 1-0 Liverpool v Stoke. Liverpool looked decent, although they need to finish teams off earlier as anything can happen at 1-0 - such as the penalty today. | |

Glad to see your sense of humour hasn't deserted you. I have a feeling you are going to need it between now and May on last night's evidence.

We will be in another relegation fight at the end of the season. Ashley has no interest in building the club. He just wants to run the club on a budget while he lines his pockets.

| ^ 0-0 for you lot today. West Ham are solid under Big Sam but still not the best start for you.

| City blew 3 points yesterday at Cardiff. Dear oh dear, but I'd like to see Cardiff maintain that level of performance further down the season. | |
