| What I am happy about is the fact that the best 4 teams went through. France and England especially were very poor and if they had gone through, it would have been an injustice. | |

| England were, with all due respect, pretty poor, especially second half and extra time.. Shame about some of the Azzurri finishing, otherwise the game would have been won well before the end of extra time. Good performance though, dominated possession and passing.
Didn't think I could be any more in love with Pirlo, then he produced that for the penalty! A true genius. | |

| Many consider Xavi as the best passer of the ball but Andrea Pirlo imo is on the same level. Some of the balls that he played today were delightful. | |
