Go on Toni! He just keeps on going. I thought he was finished around 2011, or whenever it was when he was at Juventus and he looked unbelievably slow, but he did well at Fiorentina last season. Should do a job for Verona.

In his prime Luca Toni was a joy to watch but in recent seasons, spells at Roma, Genoa and Juve didn't go too well but he did quite well last season for the Viola and with Verona being one of the faves to go back down, a striker such as Toni can come up with crucial goals even though he's past it.

Torino have signed striker Ciro Immobile from Juventus on a co-ownership deal for around £2.5million.

Genoa have signed striker Moussa Konate from Krasnodar on loan.

Genoa have signed defender Sime Vrsaljko from Dinamo Zagreb for an undisclosed fee.

They wanted to keep him but he wanted to leave as he wanted first team football to keep up his chances of playing in the World Cup. It's a shame he is playing on the wrong side of the Tyne-Wear

How much different could Roma have been now had we kept Montella in summer 2011 instead of appointing Enrique, we'll never know for sure but I'm pretty sure we'd be in a much better situation than we are now.

Yes it has been a very poor couple of years for Roma and maybe keeping Montella on might not have seen you in the mess that you are in now. The money that you received for Marquinhos should see you invest in a few players. Rumour has it that Gervinho is on his way. Even though he had a poor time at Arsenal, he was fantastic for Lille under Udi Garcia so could be a good signing.
