Yes it has been a very poor couple of years for Roma and maybe keeping Montella on might not have seen you in the mess that you are in now. The money that you received for Marquinhos should see you invest in a few players. Rumour has it that Gervinho is on his way. Even though he had a poor time at Arsenal, he was fantastic for Lille under Udi Garcia so could be a good signing.

Now Napoli have got Higuain and Reina confirmed. On paper they're looking very strong.

I'm happy with Strootman and Benatia - they should do well. Really not sure about Gervinho, whenever I've seen him at Arsenal he's looked pretty hopeless. He's just fast but doesn't really have a football brain or much technical ability.

Many people have written off Serie A as it is seen as falling behind La Liga, EPL and the Bundesliga but I have been impressed this summer with the amount of top players joining the league. Tevez, Llorente, Higuain, Reina, Gomez, Joaquin, Strootman, Biglia, etc.

Rome derby week 4. If we win it could set us on the road for a good season, if we lose it could go the other way, plus the fans would go absolutely mental after what happened last season. Bet Garcia's dreading it already!

Surprised Milan have signed Silvestre. Very surprised actually. They need to get a move on with Honda and Llajic if they want to have a good transfer window and to be considered as a Scudetto challenger.

It has definitely been a surprising transfer window for Serie A. I actually think overall the teams have been made some of the better signing so far in Europe.

If Rossi and Gomez can hit it off, Fiorentina are definitely the dark horse this season.

He's still there yeah but he seems to be continuously linked with Milan almost everyday.

He's been poor whenever I've seen him at Arsenal, not much of a footballing brain. Just quick. But I suppose Garcia knows him well.......will just have to hope he surprises us.

Yeah.Samp v Juventus is on next Saturday + highlights of Milan Sunday morning + 2 live games on Sunday.
