Credit to City for making a really match of it.

Utd are not the team they were at the beginning of the season

Agree. City in the 2nd half without Silva (best player in the EPL for me) really made a match of it as you said. The 2nd half, i feared for City as i thought United would just rakc up chance after chance after chance and win by a wider margin but it was the complete opposite.

What has happened to Phil Jones? Ever since the New Year, he has 3 poor games imo.

Well he got a thump on the head just before Christmas - hope that is not the problem Laughing And of course he keeps having to play with different defenders as they all go down injured. bear in mind he isn't 20 yet.

I know the injury situation hasnt helped him and like you said he is still young but the way he has played before the New Year he was playing like an experienced pro. Really hope he gets back to top form soon.

Was keeping an eye on the City game, was a good one. Don't agree with Kompany's red card, but City showed lots of courage in the second half. I'd imagine their fans will be proud despite the result.

Yes it was harsh, but that is the trouble nowerdays when anyone goes in two footed they risk the red. He's been one of their best players too.

Yeah, I think it's all got a bit too sensitive with regards to two footed challenges.

But when Nani doesn't complain, you know nothing's wrong!

And aren't the press just going to love the Liverpool v Man Utd tie? They have three weeks to go on, and on, and on about the Suarez/Evra spat.

You should win that one, aldair.

Liverpool v United will be tasty. Particularly when Evra wants to take a throw in and has to collect the ball right in front of the crowd.

Forest are awful. Everytime I come across one of their results it's a battering.

Yeah cracking result Saturday. Feels so good to be out the bottom 3, even if we'll probably be back in it come Saturday tea time.

Did you see the Burnley goals at Middlesbrough? I used to play football with the lad in net for Boro who unfortunately made a mistake on Saturday, Stuart Ripley's son!

Yes I did Laughing

I remember Stuart Ripley - a little news on him:

Life outside footballAfter finishing his playing career, having been capped twice by England whilst at Blackburn, Ripley set up the Castleford Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic, providing physiotherapy to nearby rugby league teams, as well as local football teams.[citation needed]

He graduated from the University of Central Lancashire in 2007, with a first class combined honours degree in Law and French.[7]

His son, Connor Ripley, is a goalkeeper and plays for Middlesbrough.[8]

In 2010 Ripley became a qualified solicitor.[9]
