| We have done very well in my view so far but the defence slightly shaky compared to the Spain game | |

| So Spain will beat ROI Italy will beat ROI and Spain and Croatia will go through with a 2-2 draw. Now where have we seen that before? | |

| Bloody frustrating!!!!!!!!!!! Wtf was Chiellini doing for the goal? 4-0 to Spain atm, so I'm guessing they'll just need a draw to come top. They better beat Croatia, and the Azzurri better beat Ireland. Surely surely we have to?? | |

| Two times the Azzurri have let the lead slip. Against Spain, it was understandable but today, they really should have closed the game out. I expect Spain to beat Croatia as I am sure they will want to ensure they finish top and finish with win and Italy should beat ROI. | |

| He looked alright in the first half against Croatia but we need goals, would put Di Natale in. I love Cassano but if he doesn't look like scoring then I'd put Giovinco on before it's too late, he'd have too much skill for the Irish. | |

| Instead of talking about the game against the Irish, nearly everyone in the meda is talking about how Spain and Croatia are going to conspire to draw 2-2. I myself can't see it happening as Spain have got a winning mentality and will be going out to win. | |

| Croatia 0-1 Spain ROI 0-2 Italy
It's like pulling teeth watching Italy, or like watching A C struggling to close the game out. | |

| Amazing miss but we wouldn't have wanted a 1-1 because that would have put Italy out wouldn't it. | |

| Phew! Good result, decent performance for most of the game (70th-80th minute was a poor spell, couldn't get into the Ireland half). Grazie Spain as well.. Hope Ukraine top Group D unlikely though. | |

| I had the Spain v Croatia game on in the background and Simon Brotherton really needs to get some spectacles. He called David Silva as David Villa quite a few times and in the closing stages he mistook Ivan Perisic for Domagoj Vida even though Vida was subbed off a few minutes before and he also mistook Corluka for Eduardo. Poor show. | |
