I did wonder what response that would elicit - particularly from you.

Italy have 9 players on a yellow and they don't get cancelled until after the quarters.

Final tournament
21.04 Single cautions from matches in the final tournament expire on completion of the
quarter-finals, and are not carried forward to the semi-finals.
21.05 Cautions and pending yellow-card suspensions from the final tournament expire at
the end of the competition.

They are different from say Champions League. But I guess it means there is less chance of someone missing a final.

So if Chiellini is out (and the signs aren't good) how will Italy line up without him?

Bad news massive loss. If it's a three at the back, three CB's that is with two full backs (Maggio/Abate, and then Balzaretti at LB) it'd be Barzagli-DDR-Bonucci I think.

I hope we play 4-3-1-2 again with Bonucci and Barzagli as centre halfs. DDR needs to be in midfield to keep an eye on Gerrard.

I also hope it is Di Natale and Cassano up front. The England defence will know exactly how to wind up Balotelli if he starts. It is a bad idea to play Balotelli in this game.
